On May 13, 2014, LISA HOWE and TAD ECKENRODE successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of our client, a physician being sued for medical malpractice. In order to overcome plaintiff’s theory of fraudulent concealment (to toll the applicable statute of limitations), Lisa and Tad filed a detailed memorandum of law, thorough statement of uncontroverted facts, and substantial supporting affidavits. After vigorous oral argument on the issues, the trial court granted our motion for summary judgment, definitively resolving this case in favor of our client.
